Positive Moves
About the Positive Moves Service
The Positive Moves program is a new program funded under the Brisbane City Council’s Pathways Out of Homelessness Grant Program.
Positive Moves supports young people aged 14-19 in Brisbane to transition to stable housing or return to the family home, particularly when exiting detention, and address emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
They can support young people with:
- Transitioning to permanent safe housing
- Family relationships and personal well-being
- Accessing support for their mental health
- Accessing other support services
Our services are:
Free
Our service are free of cost.
Confidential
Our services are confidential, meaning we won’t share your information without your permission (unless the law says we have to).
Voluntary
We only work with a young person if they want to work with us. We will give you information and allow you to make your own decision.
