Our Reconciliation Action Plan
Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples.
A Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a formal commitment by organisations to advance reconciliation through embedding the principles and purpose of reconciliation in its operations.
Our RAP here at YAC is a framework for us to support the national reconciliation movement, and intertwines with our advocacy for systematic reform that reduces the overrepresentation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in the youth justice system.
Find out more about the importance of RAP's on the Reconciliation Australia website.
